Becks Bakehouse

After 9 months overseas in a country where a pasty is unheard of, the first thing I required upon my return was a pasty. What better place to get that cheese and veg pasty than Beck’s Bakehouse on Oaklands Road.

Often, you think you need to head beyond suburbia into those delightful country towns like Port Elliot and Yankalilla to pick up some good baked goods, but let me tell you, do yourself a favour and get down to Beck’s Bakehouse. A great selection of all your bakery favourites; large selection of pies, pasties, sausage rolls, chocolate doughnuts that will change your life and they’ll even make you a roll or brew you a coffee. My only complaint is that the cold drink selection is a little restricted and importantly to me they dont have ‘V’ which I like to enjoy with my cheese and veg pasty. So if you’re looking to enjoy a ‘V’ with your pasty it does require a little additional planning but still achievable.

So, if you don’t have a local bakery that satisfies your baked good needs get down to Beck’s Bakehouse.
