Tanunda “APEX” Bakery Pasty
Service – good old country service. You might have to wait for a while, but no one pushes in and you know that when you get served it will be with a smile and maybe a good old chin wag. Good old fashioned pen and paper to add up your order relying on mental arithmetic, none of this mindless computer crap. 10/10
Atmosphere – Smells like a bakery that has fresh products baked daily. No flashy signs, neon lights, etc, just trying to be a bakery. 10/10
Pasty Price – pay 3 bucks for a pasty, happy with that as its made onsite with fresh country ingredients, made by locals who have been making them for decades. Not trying to re-invent the pasty as they have a century old recipe that is a winner in all circles.
Pasty Size – perfect. Good quantity of veg and meat, nice crusty portion of pastry on the ends. Brilliant 10/10
Pasty Taste – Words can’t explain – just pure freshness and perfection. You can taste all of the flavours from the century old wood fired oven. Makes the saliva glands salivate at the thought of eating one. Served at the perfect temperature. 10/10
Overall Rating – Blo0dy Quality 10/10. No other bakery compares. Don’t confuse this to the other Tanunda Bakery. Make sure its an APEX pasty!!!
